Qloqx™ ("Qloqx," "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is a memorabilia authentication and luxury auction service operated by Moose Pack Inc. ("MPI"), through its ventures arm MPV Ventures, an Officially Licensed product. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you. It applies to auctions.moosetique.com and all related pages, features, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, submitting an item, bidding, listing, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information. Some you provide directly; some is collected automatically; some comes from third parties.

2.1 Account & Registration Data

Full name, email address, and phone number
Account password (stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we never store plaintext passwords)
Date of birth / age confirmation (we require all users to be 18+)
Location information you provide at registration (country, state/region, postal code, and shipping/billing address)

2.2 Onboarding & Profile Enrichment Data

During account setup we ask additional, clearly-labeled and optional onboarding questions designed to personalize the Services and improve our marketplace (collectively, "Onboarding Data"). These may include:

Collecting categories and interests (e.g., sports, music, film, historical artifacts)
Collector experience level and buying/selling history
Price ranges and budget preferences
How you discovered Qloqx and your reasons for joining
Preferred notification and communication settings
Wishlist items and "items you'd love to find"

We tell you when a question is optional, and we tell you it informs both your experience and our business analytics. You may skip optional questions and still use the core Services. We do not condition account creation on answering enrichment questions.

2.3 Transaction & Marketplace Data

Items you list, including descriptions, prices, and photographs (including required photos of the authentication sticker)
Bids placed, Buy-Now purchases, auction activity, and watchlists
Purchase and sale history, buyer's premium and fees, settlement details
Payment information processed through our third-party payment processor (we receive transaction confirmations and limited card metadata such as the last four digits and card brand; we do not store full card numbers)
Shipping, fulfillment, and delivery details

2.4 Authentication & Appraisal Data

Photographs and images of items you submit for authentication or appraisal
The 8-digit license number assigned to authenticated items
Item condition notes, provenance information you provide, and appraisal records
Images and metadata you submit to the AI Appraiser (vision-based authentication and value estimation)

2.5 AI Concierge & Communications Data

Messages, prompts, and content you submit to the AI Concierge assistant and AI Appraiser
Customer support communications and correspondence with us
Survey responses and feedback

> AI processing note. Content you submit to the AI Appraiser and AI Concierge is processed by Anthropic (claude-opus-4-8) and, as a fallback, by OpenRouter or a locally-hosted model, solely to provide the feature. We do not authorize these providers to train their public models on your inputs where contractual controls allow us to prevent it. Do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., government ID numbers, financial account numbers) into free-text AI fields.

2.6 Device & Technical Data (Collected Automatically)

IP address and approximate geolocation derived from it
Device type, operating system, browser type and version, and device identifiers
Referring/exit pages, pages viewed, clickstream, session duration, and feature usage
Date/time stamps and diagnostic/crash data
Cookie and similar-technology identifiers (see Section 11)

2.7 Information From Third Parties

Identity, fraud-prevention, and sanctions-screening signals from verification vendors
Payment confirmations and chargeback/dispute data from our payment processor
Analytics and advertising attribution data
Publicly available information used to verify provenance, prevent fraud, or screen prohibited items

3. How We Use Your Information

For our own business, analytics, and product use (disclosed)

We analyze account data, Onboarding Data, transaction data, device data, and usage patterns to understand our users, measure demand, set and refine pricing and fees, build market and category intelligence, forecast, develop new features and products, and operate Qloqx as a business. This includes producing aggregated and de-identified datasets and internal reporting. We treat the insight derived from your data — including your collecting interests and behavior — as a core business asset, and we use it accordingly. We disclose this use to you here so it is never a surprise.

For trust, safety, and legal compliance

Verify identity and age (18+), prevent fraud, detect prohibited or stolen items, screen against sanctions/AML obligations, enforce our Terms, and resolve disputes
Comply with law, legal process, tax reporting, and lawful requests from authorities

To communicate

Send transactional messages (bids, outbids, wins, settlement, shipping)
Send marketing and promotional messages where permitted (you can opt out at any time)

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK/EEA Users)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

Contract — to provide the Services you request (account, listings, bids, settlement)
Legitimate interests — for security, fraud prevention, analytics, product development, and our business use of data, balanced against your rights
Consent — for optional onboarding enrichment, non-essential cookies, and marketing (withdrawable at any time)
Legal obligation — for tax, AML/KYC, sanctions, and compliance with legal process

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as follows:

Service providers / processors — hosting and database (Supabase), payment processing, identity/fraud/sanctions verification, shipping/logistics, email/SMS delivery, analytics, and AI providers (Anthropic; fallback OpenRouter; local models), all bound by contract to use data only on our instructions.
Counterparties to a transaction — limited information necessary to complete a sale, shipment, or settlement between buyer and seller.
Corporate family — within Moose Pack Inc. and MPV Ventures for operations, support, and analytics consistent with this Policy.
Legal and safety — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights, property, or safety, and respond to fraud, lawful requests, or legal process.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Note: Certain analytics and advertising cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law even when no money changes hands. See Section 12 for your opt-out rights.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal information out of the EU/UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum). 7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the periods required to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations. Authentication and license records — including license numbers, item images, and appraisal records — may be retained on an extended or permanent basis so the public verification function remains reliable over the life of the physical item. De-identified and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and provider-level protections through Supabase. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Services at your own risk. Notify us at privacy@auctions.moosetique.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Children

The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Contact privacy@auctions.moosetique.com if you believe a minor has provided us data.

10. Your Choices

Account data — review and update most data in your account settings.
Marketing — opt out via the unsubscribe link or by updating notification settings. Transactional messages cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.
Onboarding/enrichment — skip optional questions and edit your profile.
Cookies — manage via our cookie banner and your browser (Section 11).

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to:

Strictly necessary — keep you logged in, secure the session, enable bidding and checkout (cannot be disabled)
Functional — remember preferences and settings
Analytics — understand usage and improve the Services
Advertising/attribution — measure and (where applicable) personalize marketing

Where required, we obtain consent through a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies. You can manage preferences through the banner and your browser controls. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) where required by law.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights (California / CCPA-CPRA and Similar)

Subject to verification and legal limits, you have the right to:

Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose
Delete personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate personal information
Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (e.g., certain advertising/analytics cookies) and of targeted advertising
Limit use of sensitive personal information to permitted purposes
Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

We collect the categories described in Section 2, including identifiers, commercial information, internet/device activity, geolocation, audio/visual data (item and sticker images), and inferences (e.g., collector interests). We use and disclose these for the purposes in Sections 3–5.

To exercise rights, email privacy@auctions.moosetique.com. You may use an authorized agent. We will verify your identity before responding. To opt out of sale/sharing, use the cookie banner or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and enable Global Privacy Control.

13. EU/UK (GDPR) Rights

If you are in the EU/UK/EEA, you have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
